★ PEDRO PAN COMMISSION & PRODUCTION HISTORY ★
PEDRO PAN opened in Long Island City at The Chain Theatre on February 1, 2014. PEDRO PAN was commissioned and produced by The TRUF Theatre Company. The cast featured Luis E. Mora as Pedro, Joey Lozada as Roger, Destinee Rea McGinnis as Wendy, Taylor Ferrera as Tia Lily, and Rebecca Aparicio as Mami. The production was directed by Rebecca Aparicio, choreographed by Alexis Rheinhart and Jason Styres. Stage Management: Katie Kennedy. Set design/Projection: Guillermo Laporta. The original PEDRO PAN band included Stephen Anthony Elkins on piano, Bill Goffi on bass, and Theo Metz on percussion.
2015- New York International Fringe Festival: Full Production The cast featured Luis E. Mora as Pedro, Destinee Rea McGinnis as Wendy, Joey Lozada as Roger, Amanda Castaños as Tia Lily, Bobby Gámez as Papi, and Rebecca Aparicio as Mami. The production was directed by Rebecca Aparicio. Stage Management: Katie Kennedy. Set design/Projection: Guillermo Laporta. The original PEDRO PAN band included Stephen Anthony Elkins on piano, Bill Goffi on bass, Andy Warren on trumpet, and Raphael Torn on percussion.
2017- New York Musical Festival Developmental Reading Series. Winner 2017 NEW YORK MUSICAL FESTIVAL DEVELOPMENTAL READING AWARD guaranteeing them a spot in the 2018 Festival and a $5,000 subsidy towards that production.
2018- Full Production, New York Musical Festival, Acorn Theatre- Theatre Row.
